President, Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC), Rev. Dr. Jerry Madibo, has explained that state governors still owning workers salaries despite the release of second tranche of Paris Club refund would soon face the wrath of God.The church leader, who particularly frowned at what he described as ‘the excessiveness and insensitivity of some governors hiding under immunity clause to commit all sorts of atrocity’ said that political office holders should know that someday soon the wrath of God would visit them.Speaking at the 2017 Annual Reverend’s Fellowship meeting of all ERCC Reverends, in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Dr. Madibo said “State governors who are still holding back the wages of workers would soon face the wrath of God that will be worse than what the workers’ are facing
Kebbi receives N5.9b Paris refund, pays pensioners 40% entitlements

The Kebbi State Government says it received N5.9 billion Paris refund from the Federal Government, while pensioners in the state have been paid 40 percent of their entitlements.Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed Augie, confirmed this while speaking with journalists, in Birnin-Kebbi.Augie, who disclosed that about N7 billion had been paid so far to settle pensioners in the state, said that the state deducts an average of N1.5 billion monthly to pay salaries of 19,133 civil servants out of the N2.7 billion received from the Federal Government monthly. He declared that that was a major burden.

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has engaged a new Health Coordinator to run its programs in the health sector.He is Ahmad Abdulwahab, a medical doctor and experienced public health/health systems expert with over 20 years’ experience in the health sector within and outside the country.A statement issued by the Head of Media and Public Affairs at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum Secretariat, Abulrazque B.
