The Nigeria Governors’ Forum Secretariat (NGFS) on Thursday 3rd of May, 2018 hosted the CEO and field managers of the All Babies Are Equal (ABAE) Initiative alongside the Executive Secretaries and State Immunization Officers of Jigawa, Kaduna and Zamfara State.
The objective of the meeting was to review the Conditional Cash Transfers (CCTs) project for Routine Immunizations (RI), discuss bottlenecks encountered during the course of the project and propose solutions to the problems identified. The CEO expressed her gratitude to the NGFS for their immersed support towards the program and expressed her team’s dedication to continuously improve immunization in the country.
A decision was reached that the NGFS would facilitate a meeting between the technical team of ABAE Initiative and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency(NPHCDA) to see how best the CCTs could be integrated in the already existing immunization scheme to boost immunization in the country.
