Kebbi State has announced a major initiative aimed at transforming the region with the construction and upgrade of 300 kilometers of rural roads. This significant development is set to improve connectivity and access to essential services for rural communities.
The first phase of the project includes the construction of the 6.5 km Malisa - Kurya - Maruda road in Gwandu LGA and the Rini Junction - Gidan Jodi - Garu road in Augie LGA. This initiative underscores the state's commitment to enhancing agriculture and social services, ensuring that no community is left behind.
In addition, Kebbi State will soon commence the construction of 5 kilometers of township roads in Argungu and introduce a 5 billion Naira empowerment package benefiting 50,000 residents across the state.
