The 36 State governors under the aegis of the Nigerian Governor’s Forum (NGF) have commenced plans to mitigate the effects of the looming incidences of flooding across the country. This was contained in a communiqué signed by Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum and, Governor of Kwara State, which was made available to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja by Abdulrazaq Barkindo, Spokesman for the NGF Secretariat.

Borno State has emerged as the top-performing state in Nigeria’s Leadership Challenge for Primary Healthcare delivery. The program aims to strengthen the Primary Health Care Under One Roof (PHCUOR) policy by encouraging state governors to increase funding for primary healthcare.

In a bid to drive good governance at the state level and enhance the capabilities of governors, the Nigeria Governors Forum recently organized an induction program for newly elected and re-elected governors. With the theme “Governing for Impact: Building Sub-national Governance,” this event aimed to equip governors with the necessary skills to deliver on their campaign promises and prioritize the needs of the people.
